Welcome to the informal launch of "Heroes With Glasses!" This is
a temporary site I am opening to allow me to create a few strips, post
them online and see how things operate before I officially launch the comic
early next year. As this is my first experience as a cartoonist and as
a web-page designer*, you'll have to be patient with me as I learn the
ropes. (and watch for the extra-special "rope week spectacular" next year!)
Also, teaching takes up too much time, so the updates will be at most weekly
for now. I hope to have three updates a week next year.
Why launch a comic on Halloween, you ask? Well, it is my favorite
holiday. Once a year, we get to be someone else for an entire day. In good
years, we can be more than one person! (This year, I'm a college admissions
zombie vampire by day, and "The Picnic Avenger" by night.) I've always
wanted to be a superhero myself, but I can only live this dream vicariously
through my comic and in person on the single day they won't lock you away
for threatening villainy with a wiffle ball bat covered in tin foil....
Anyway, I welcome you to "Heroes with Glasses" and hope you enjoy it!
*I actually helped update the Viking guild web pages
for about a month. I have no l33t html skillz, I fear.
